Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is better well-known by her stage name and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. She became popular after she was cast in the show 'Doctor Who. In 2010 it was announced that she was to host for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. As a result, she was the second female host on record, following Roseanne.
